Sage Software, the North American operations of the Sage Group, plc (LSE: SGE), announced today that David van Toor has been named General Manager for Sage SalesLogix and Sage CRM operations in North America.

In his new role, van Toor will work closely with Joe Bergera, GM of Global CRM, to execute on the company’s strategy of delivering Sage SalesLogix and Sage CRM both as standalone systems and as key elements of integrated business systems for the North American market.

We plan to continue building on that success while accelerating the delivery of our leading CRM offerings into small and medium-size business as integrated products to our operations solutions,” said Jim Foster, Sage Executive Vice President of Mid-Market Business Units. “van Toor’s background driving end-to-end solutions, and most recently driving the company’s cross-product business efforts in North America, is well suited to this challenge.”

Prior to this role, van Toor was General Manager for the Sage PFW and Sage BusinessWorks product lines, and was most recently responsible for driving the company’s cross-product business initiatives focusing on CRM. Prior to joining Sage Software, van Toor was Managing Director of a leading Australian business software company where he was an early promoter of integrated operational and CRM systems.
