Integration of customer master functionality is a response to mounting pressure on individual pharmaceutical sales reps to manage more and more physician and account-based customers in an increasingly regulated environment. According to Alliance, pharmaceutical sales reps struggle to efficiently track physician and account contact information as well as the hundreds of thousands of physician records from various syndicated data providers.
