GAITHERSBURG, MD–(Marketwire - April 21, 2008) - BroadSoft Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Unified Communications magazine (www.uc-mag.com) has named BroadSoft’s Unified Connector for Salesforce the Product of the Year. The Unified Connector for Salesforce is a Web 2.0 mashup of BroadSoft’s BroadWorks® VoIP application platform with the leading web-based customer relationship management (CRM) application.
The Unified Connector for Salesforce enables enterprise users to use their carrier-grade VoIP calling functionality — including click-to-dial, call hold and call transfer — within salesforce.com.
The Unified Connector for Salesforce is a flagship mashup in the BroadSoft Xtended program (http://marketplace.broadsoft.com), a pioneering initiative that brings together the carrier-grade BroadWorks voice applications with leading Web 2.0 solutions. Unified Communications magazine’s Product of the Year award is the second honor for BroadSoft’s Unified Connector for Salesforce in the last month.
